For the last 17 weeks, I’ve been doing this Half Marathon training plan with a ‘virtual coach’ named Jeff Galloway.
Today was the last day! I can run a half marathon!!! I actually had to run three of them during this training session. I think the first one was only supposed to be 10, but I thought, what’s a couple more miles? The one after that was 12, but with warm-up and cool-down, it’s 14 miles, then a super long 15 miler.
This morning, I left before the sun came up, check this out!

My method… Jeff Galloway’s method for running is to take scheduled walk breaks. Quite literally, I run for 30 seconds and then I walk for 30 seconds. I know some people will think that isn’t real running… I know I don’t care what they think. HA! It’s my life and I run by my pace with my permission to be as slow as I want to be. Well, I made it. I’m going to take a little bit of a break, then start all over again in about a week. Now it’s time for vacation!
